Working Party: ISTQB Processes
Mission
The ISTQB Processes working party aims at creating and delivering a mutual processes description as a baseline for all ISTQB national boards to use (such as: Review, Examination, Certification, Accreditation Process and any other process within ISTQB if not specifically excluded).
The ISTQB Processes working party will aim to get involvement from mature national boards, to collaborate and get a consensus on processes from all national boards involved.

- Expansion – Prepare a suggestion to change a process paper (Jerry) TBD
- ISTQB member board structure (Yaron)
- Cross Recognition between national boards – Prepare a suggestion to change a process paper (Klaus)
- Accreditation of Trainers – enhancement to the Accreditation process (SSTB)
- ISTQB GA meeting (Robert D.)
- Hosting an ISTQB GA meeting
- Working groups workshop
- Gathering all GA meeting decisions related to processes and create change requests
- Collection of replies for ‘Compliance Report Card’ from national boards – will be reported at the meeting in Krakow – not all boards sent their reports.
- Aggregation of comments to released processes (on-going).
General approach from working party:
Work is distributed in the way that all national board representatives will take over the review of the above processes - based on the ‘Review process’ template, calls for review meetings following the review process, updates the document and make sure it is ready for vote before publishing it. Issues that are to be raised to the “general board” are done by the person/host board if problem cannot be resolved within working party or are beyond its area of work. All participants in the working party are expected to act as the ambassador for their national board and to actively participate in the work (reviews, drafts creation/managing a process) but this work can also be distributed to others within their own board for practical reasons.
